CONTRACT TERMS

BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a signed bridal contract and a minimum Rs 5,000.00 deposit/Payment is required. An Advance Payment of Rs 40,000/- (minimum) to be made within 3 days of the booking. Additional 2000/- will be charged each days of the delay. This deposit is nonrefundable and non-transferable. This deposit will be put toward the client’s total wedding day balance if the client chooses wedding day services. Accepted forms of payment include: cash/check or Bank Deposits.​
CONSULTATIONS: Consultations are available for brides as well as their bridal party members at
studio on a particular date, including but not limited to: bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and
groom, grandmothers, extended family members, guests, etc.
NOTE: Additional consultations must be scheduled on the same day as the bride’s consultation if
needed.
For the Requested Bouquet, Hairflower/ Headdress and Jewels artist will seek only one time
confirmation. Once the Bouquet, Hairflower and Jewels Confirmed, it can’t be Changed. Any claims
and cost made by the client on cancellation/ change of booked hairflowers/Headdress, bouquets
and jewels will be charged additionally.
DATE AND TIME: Clients should provide the exact date and time, avenue and location details
clearly on the consultation day. Changes of the date will be claimed as cancel of pre booked date
and clients are subjected to pay the total of contracted amount as penalty to the makeup artist.
CHANGES ON CONFIRMED LOOKS AND ARRANGEMENTS.
Everything will be marked point to point on your consultation day, if anything need to change after
the consultation clients should talk to the makeup artist before very next day of consultation.
Please note that anything you have been confirmed on you days look and arrangement can’t be
changed. If the makeup artist agreed for the changes on any possible situation, the look and
arrangements can be changed with additional charges.
DELAYS: A late fee of Rs. 5000.00 will be charged additionally for every 15 minutes of delay when a
client is late for the scheduled time on the event date, or if the scheduled makeup application
exceeds the allotted time due to client delays.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction as discussed
before the event, and acceptance of the completed makeup application to be acknowledged by
the client verbally.
TRAVEL FEES: Travel within 3.0 km Of Jaffna is completely free of charge. A kilometer fee (Rs.100.00/km both ways) will be charged for locations outside 3.0 km of Jaffna. Travel fees applied for all pre-event makeup events & Mehandi Functions as well as day-of appointments.
PARKING FEES: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred for the makeup artist vehicle. This amount will be included in the final bill and will be due on the day of the event.
LIABILITY: All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are High quality, best brands and hypoallergenic from guaranteed international branded suppliers. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
PAYMENT: The final balance is due on the day of the event should be settled within 3 days of the particular event.
Late fee of Rs.2000.00 will be charged additionally for the each day of delays.
CANCELLATION:
Your booking is a reserved spot.
Cancellations must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the client’s reserved date and please
note that the client will be responsible to pay the full amount for the services agreed upon in this
contract. All cancellations must be submitted in written form or by email.
LOST & DAMAGES: The jewels and accessories provided by the makeup artist to the clinets may
be rented or owned by makeup artist. Clients should be liable to Any damages on the Jewels and
accessories provided by the makeup artist. Full amount of Jewelries and accessories would be
charged from the clients if any damages or lost of jewels and accessories.
RETURNS OF ACCESSORIES : all the hair extensions, Buns, Jewels and artificial bouquets used by
the makeup artist should be returned on the very next day of the event. Incase of delays, all the
rental costs would be charged from the client.
ON LOCATION SERVICE & REQUIREMENTS:
For the on location makeovers clients should arrange a recommended hotel room for the makeup
artist to stay and do the needful.
The location of makeup services for the day-of-event will be at the Bride’s discretion, but there are certain requirements the artist will need to complete the services. An Air condition room with a set-up table/work area/chair/trashcan will need to be made available for the Makeup Artist. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. Artist will arrive 03 hours prior to set-up. Please communicate the hotel name, location,
room number, check in and out time by email or text.
SOCIAL MEDIA & WEBSITE: Photos taken at the trial or your professional photos may be used as
examples of artist work, for future clients to view. Your photographer will receive proper credit for
their work. You agree to makeup artist using these photos, as well as give consent to using your
professional photos on the website/portfolio/social media.
INABILITY TO PERFORM: In the event that the contracted Makeup Artist and/or Hair Stylist is
unable to perform the services agreed upon due to an emergency, illness or unexpected
occurrence, a trusted substitute makeup and hair stylist will be assigned and informed of the
contracted and discussed arrangements. If for whatever reason a replacement is also unavailable,
a full refund on deposit and/or final payment will be refunded in full.
PRODUCTS/TOUCH UPS: The bride and bridal party are responsible for their own touch up
products on the wedding day, including, but not limited to: lipstick, lip gloss, powder, blush,
blotting sheets, etc. Individual Touch up kits will be provided to paying clients and include: 1 pre-loaded translucent powder sponge, 2 blotting papers, Q-tips and individually wrapped breath
mint). Bride has the option of purchasing lipstick and/or gloss agreed upon at consultation which
makeup artist will bring on wedding day (price depends on lipstick and/or gloss selected at
consultation).
